Mendoza Information

Mendoza is situated at the foot of The Andes and is an incredible oasis to grow fruits and vegetables because of its proximity to the Tunuyán Rivers. It is one of the most popular tourist destinations because of the various activities available in the region. Mendoza's climate is mild, and the average temperature in May is 12º C (54º F).

The city is filled with beautiful streets flanked by trees and parks. You can visit museums in the area and gain a sense of the richness of the region. If you are looking for some adventure, there are places for skiing or rafting. For more moderate travelers, there are plenty of walks to take through the area that will take you by the town's shops, historical buildings, civic centre and the founding areas that make the tourists admire the culture, history and idiosyncrasies of its residents. Outside Mendoza, one can visit interesting places and towns like the Ruins of San Francisco Church ors Villavicencio Thermal Resort. The "Ruta de los Vinos " (Route of the Wines) is a place visitors go to visit ancient cellars and taste a variety of delicious wines, a product of carefully chosen grapes.
